Theodore Roosevelt in Chicago, Illinois, on April 10, 1899 gave a speech talking about 'The Strenuous Life'. Though, this idea had some ideas of more physical activity than what I tend to do, however, I've taken this idea of always move forward, always be doing something.

"I wish to preach, not the doctrine of ignoble ease, but the doctrine of the strenuous life, the life of toil and effort, of labor and strife; to preach that highest form of success which comes, not to the man who desires mere easy peace, but to the man who does not shrink from danger, from hardship, or from bitter toil, and who out of these wins the splendid ultimate triumph."

To that end I try to keep doing things, no matter how odd, in fact, never doing the same thing twice is a goal. This page lists several of this projects.
